Adding towing mirrors onto your vehicle is going to give you a lot of extra sight distance while you're towing a trailer. Not only are you going to be able to see the backside of your trailer, but it's going to help you when you're parking, passing, or even a couple of lanes over on each side when you're going down the road. Hey everybody, Ryan here@etrailer.com today on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SEPA universal fit towing mirror, which is sold individually, and as a set. Towing mirror, it's really going to expand our field of view. That can be especially useful. Whenever we're making lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot this morning to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. So to give you an example, as you can see, I'm visible and our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. And that's how much more ground we're going to be able to cover. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hey guys, Connor here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA universal towing mirrors for our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. At least towing mirrors are going to be a great addition to our Jeep because we're going to be limited with the factory side mirrors and how much of our trailer we can see as well as our blind spots.A really nice feature about the CIPA mirrors in particular for the dual mirror faces here as you can see, they're both adjustable and however, the larger mirror face is actually going to be better for seeing our trailer, whereas the smaller mirror face here is actually going to be better for seeing our blind spots while we're out on the road. Now, a really nice feature about these CIPA towing mirrors is that they're extremely universal, meaning they can fit all different shapes and sizes of factory side mirrors.There's two hinges here as well as two adjustment points here. And then again, two straps, so we can adjust the tightness and get the tension desire. Just as a reference point, I'm standing directly beside the trailer now, which we can clearly see with our factory side mirrors. more

You see Potomac Mills here are going to be an excellent option for a Jeep Wrangler. They're going to allow us to see parts of our trailer that we wouldn't normally be able to see with the factory side mirrors. This is going to give us peace of mind when we're out in the highway so we can change lanes better. Rampage Custom Towing Mirrors Review - 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be doing a testing on the Rampage custom towing mirrors for the driver and passenger side. Part number RA8605.It offers us a wide field of view, it's gonna allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a small camper or trailer. Not only is it gonna do that, but it's gonna help us out during our off-road adventures as well. Whether we're crawling over rocks or driving over rough terrain.As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. So if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. But here is the view you get with just your factory mirror.With the way that it connects around our factory mirror, it's not going to interfere with the operation or movement and we can even still fold it in. more

K Source Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install, the K Source Universal Clip On Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. So here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see my in the factory mirror. But if I step away, you lose track of me. But that's where our tow mirrors going to come into play. Now it's going to give us a better view of what's around us, whether we're driving down the highway, backing up our trailer, or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Our tow mirror's going to have full adjustability, and we're going to be able to adjust it up and down, left and right, to get that perfect viewing angle, as well as being able to rotate it to the side for a wide angle view. Now the way it's going to attach, is there's going to be four small tabs that fit in between our glass and our housing, as well as two straps that are going to come around the back side. Now even though our mirror is going to attach to our factory mirror, we're not going to lose any adjustability, still being able to adjust our factory mirror to the full extent, so we can safely get down the road. And for those close quarter situations, maybe pulling it a parking spot, we can still fold our mirror in, just want to be aware that we can't fold it fully in because it will make contact right here on the door. Now on the back, we're going to have two straps that are going to secure it down, and they're going to have a nice rubber pad that not only's going to give us a nice grip to our factory mirror, but it's also going to give us a little protection, so we're not going to have to worry about any abrasions on our factory mirror. Now one thing I really like about these mirrors is the fact that they are universal. So if you have several different vehicles in your family that you tow with, chances are they might fit those as well. more

Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're gonna be taking a look at showing you how to install this Cipa Universal Clamp On Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. Here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you're gonna lost track of me, but that's where our tow mirror comes into play. This is gonna give us a greater field of view of what's going on around us and it's gonna help us, whether we're driving down the highway, backing our trailer up or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Our mirror's gonna be fully adjustable, so we can get the correct angle when we go down the road and we're even able to turn it to the side to get more of a wide angle view. Now, the arm here is extendable, so we can just loosen up this knob here and we can slide our mirror out, tighten it back down and having even more of a wide angle view. Now, the way our tow mirror's gonna attach is it's gonna clamp on in these two spots to our factory mirror houses going right underneath our glass and our housing. It's gonna have a nice landing rubber pad, so we don't have to worry about any scratches or abrasions on our factory mirror. Now, the clamps or the landing pad's not gonna interfere with our mirror and we're still gonna have full adjustment being able to get the perfect angle to get us down the road safely. For those tight quarter situations where we may need to fold our mirror in we're still able to do that even with the mirror attached. Now, one of my favorite things about these mirrors is the fact that they are universal, so if you have several different vehicles in your family that you tow with chances are these might fit those as well. Now, they do come in a quantity of one, so if you need one for the passenger side, so ahead and order using the same part number. Now that we've gone over some of the features and benefits let's show you how easy it is to get this installed. more

Today, on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rampage custom towing mirrors for the driver and passenger side. That's going to be part number RA8605. Here I am at the back of my trailer, and you clearly see me in my factory mirror, but if I step away, you lose track of me. That's where our towing mirrors are going to come into play. Whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, park our trailer, pull up to the campground, or even if we're off-roading in our Jeep, this is going to greatly benefit us and give us a wide angle and a wider view so we know what's going on around us. Both of them are going to install under five minutes, so if we're ever off-roading or doing any rock crawling in our Jeep, this is going to be a great option to give us a wider view so we can know what's going on. Our custom-fit mirror is going to fully adjustable. We're going to be able to angle the mirror pretty much any way we need to to get that perfect view. The way our mirror is going to attach, it's going to have a couple hooks that hook onto the housing of our mirror along with this strap that's going to come around and secure it down. It is constructed of a nice plastic that's going to match similar to our factory mirror giving it that nice, sleek look. The two hooks here on our tow mirror, as well as the rubberized strap on the inside aren't going to interfere with our factory mirror, so we're still going to be able to adjust it without losing anything. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Cipa Clipon Towing Mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even backup while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this a view to get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees so if you'd like to keep it at that horizontal position for that wider view, you can do so. It also can be adjusted to most angles. Got our up and down, diagonal and side to side. Each one of the clips here are not going to interfere with the operational movement of our factory mirror and we can even still fold it in. Here on the backside, it uses two rubber straps to hold it in place around the factory mirror. more

As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Between both mirrors you get the same view, just a clearer, closer view in the larger mirror. more

It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. The mirror can be rotate 360 degrees and can be adjusted to any angle. If you look over here, it's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror and we can even still fold the mirror in. It measures 7 1/2" long by 5" wide and it comes in a quantity of one, but it's reversible so if you'd like to pick up one for the other side, just use the same part number. I'm here on the passenger side of my Wrangler Unlimited and to begin our test fit, what we need to do we need to make sure that each one of our 4 clips clips on to our factory housing. We're going to make sure that it's opened up wide enough so we can do so. more

Today on our 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we'll be doing a test fit on a K Source Clip-On Universal Towing Mirror. Part number KS3891. It offers a wide field of view. It's going to allow to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a trailer. The mirror can be adjusted to any angle and by simply removing the Phillips head screw in the back here we can adjust it horizontally. It's a nice snug fit. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror and we can even still rotate it in. The mirror measures 7 and 3/4 by 5 and 1/8 of an inch. more

The mirror can be rotated 360 degrees and can be adjusted to any angle. By loosening up the big nut up here, we can extend it out to better suit our towing needs. Once we've got it set, just tighten it back down. By loosening up the knob back here, we can adjust the mirror anywhere along the bar we choose. more

Now you can see me in the factory mirror. I'm just basically right behind the vehicle and to the side of it a little bit. What if I take a step over to the left Now you can see me in the tow mirror. This will be perfect for when you're towing a trailer. You can actually see what's behind your trailer and to the side of it. Not only the shape a very OEM like appearance, so is the texture. more

It offers a wide field of view, it's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass or park while towing a trailer. Our mirror can be rotated 360 degrees and can be positioned at any angle. We can simply adjust it out to our towing needs, we just loosen this big nut up top here, set it as far as we want and then tighten it back up. Our mirror can be adjusted along the bar by loosening up this knob here. Once we have it set where we like then we can just tighten it back up. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror and we can still fold it in. more
